Friendliness and “Northern Charm”

Mum and I have just returned home after staying with you Thurs 20th until yesterday. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your excellent, friendly service. Please make sure that you all keep your friendliness and “Northern Charm”! I’ve stayed in some very nice hotels, but it’s really the people who make the place- don’t ever get too stuffy.

The breakfasts were excellent as was the meal we had in the restaurant, compliments to the chef!

So thanks again for looking after us so well. We may well be back once the spa opens. Now if only you could get the weather to stay like this permanently no one would ever need to go abroad again!

Attention to detail that shows

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff were courteous, helpful, always available and above all happy to help! Nothing was too much trouble, and at the restaurant at breakfast, they even served a couple who had misread when breakfast was served until, reopening the kitchen for them. They really do go that extra mile.

Great place highly recommended

The Cedar Court Grand Hotel and Spa is a beautiful hotel in the centre of historic York. Only just opened, this offers fabulous service from the minute you arrive on the doorstep, fabulous interiors and luxurious rooms. I highly recommend it and will be returning.

Cedar Court Grand Hotel

Just stayed at the newly opened Cedar Court Grand in York with a special rate as the spa is not complete until June. Have to say I was very impressed with the experience. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and the room was fantastic. I stayed in a suite which was absolutely massive and finished to a very high standard. I particularly liked the bathroom complete with underfloor heating and the bed linen was top quality.

I paid £30 extra for breakfast for two and was very pleased I had because it really was first class. I can't recommend the hotel enough and would be happy to return once the spa is complete - if it is anything like the rooms then I'm sure it will be first rate.
